The retro brick building of Dirom Insulating Co is on 27 Cabell Street, in the Daniel’s Hill neighborhood of downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. This Italianate styled building was constructed in 1890. It was owned by the Dirom Insulating Co who offered insulated brick siding, aluminum storm windows and doors, caulking, asphalt and shingle roofs and more. The Bocock Elementary School is on the 100 block of Bocock Road, at the outskirts of Campbell County and Lycnhburg City, Virginia. The Bocock Elementary School began sometime before 1965 and lasted as a school through several decades. Sometime, during the later 1990’s the elementary school closed. Swan’s Island is a town and island in Hancock County, Maine. The small island town of Swan’s Island was charted by Samuel de Champlain in 1606. The former Anshe Kenesseth Israel synagogue (later the Friendship Baptist Church and then the Shepherd’s Temple Missionary Baptist Church) was at 3411 West Douglas Boulevard, in North Lawndale, the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. This playground is on South Street, the township of Sparta, Morrow County, Ohio. The playground lies rusting and derelict off an old country road. It was part of a former elementary school, which is now a private residence. The school itself was built in 1923 but the playground items are seemingly from the 1980’s. This former Dry Ice Manufactering Plant is at the intersection of Pound Road and Wister Road in the city of Calipatria, Imperial County, California.
